Love can sometimes be blind, they say, and to let a great love drift apart is a shame. I once read that falling in love is the greatest thing in the world, yet sometimes staying in love is the hardest work in the world. We are fragile, vulnerable human beings, yes, but we have a great potential of love in our hearts that can do so much good for others and ourselves.

Slip Away (1979)
written by James Buckley

I'm thinkin' of a melody that fits your personality just right
Remember how I used to say we'd be together every day and night

And even though it might appear that we might never be so near again
I know that you know better so I hope you have a letter to send

It doesn't matter what you say, cause I can't wait another lonely day
And it don't matter what you do, don't forget me now,
don't you let me slip away

What ever happened to the girl that I once knew
I tried my best to do the things you liked to do
so how can it be true
Slip Away

It doesn't matter what you say,
cause I can't wait another lonely day
And it don't matter what you do
don't forget me now, don't you let me slip away

It doesn't matter what you say,
cause I can't wait another lonely day
And it don't matter what you do
don't forget me now, don't you let me slip away
